AVOID C.R.A.P - Keep Belly Fat Away
I learned this while I was taking a class to become a nutritional advisor. It literally means what it says. Avoid Crap!
C - Carbonated drink that contain added sugar
R - Refined sugars such as white bread, white sugar, or any fructose corn syrup
A - Artificial flavors and coloring found in snacks. Also, alcohol.
P - Processed products. Processed foods are likely to contain refined sugars, additive chemicals, artificial flavor and coloring, and trans fat. Trans fat is among the worst type of fats you can consume. Check food labels for trans fat and partially hydrogenated vegetable oil which is another name for trans fat. Trans fat increases the risk of high cholesterol (increasing your LDL and decreasing your HDL cholesterol), heart attacks, stroke, and type 2 diabetes.
Keep in mind:
- Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or bad cholesterol can build up in the walls of your arteries, making them hard and narrow.
- High-density lipoprotein (HDL) or good cholesterol picks up excess cholesterol and takes it back to your liver.
Avoid C.R.A.P to avoid unwanted belly fat.
